Tuesday, October 21, is the Inspiration Day on Quiet and Sound Planning in Antwerp. During this day, designers, urban planners, noise experts, and policymakers will come together to exchange knowledge and experiences about the importance of quiet and a healthy noise climate in the city. The event marks the conclusion of the innovation trajectory for quiet and sound planning in the city of Antwerp, in which Soundtrackcity has been participating since 2021.
In the afternoon, Michiel Huijsman will lead a listening walk along a social housing development in Wilgenstraat, focusing on how residents’ sensory experiences can be mapped and then used to create places with good sound quality.
