Soundtrackcity investigates the Binckhorst
The Binckhorst in The Hague is going to be converted from an industrial into a residential area. Soundtrackcity has been investigating how residents and visitors experience the sound of the area’s transformation since January 2024. The resulting experiential knowledge can be used to create healthy, pleasant urban sound environments.
Our artistic research is part of Sound UP, a Swedish-Dutch collaboration between the chair for Music, Education & Society at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, Luleå University of Technology, Leiden University and Soundtrackcity.
