Like every year, Soundtrackcity organizes a special listening walk on the occasion of World Listening Day. This year the theme of this international event is “Listening With”. Listening is a verb. Who listens, what listens and who will you listen to?
This walk is guided and designed by Mayke Haringhuizen and Fani Konstantinidou, the current artists in residence of Sonic West. Mayke and Fani, together with residents of the neighborhood, are investigating the gardens that are hidden behind the closed building blocks that are typical for West. During the walk they will let you hear sounds in different places that you normally do not hear.
